Girl Guides of Canada-Guides du Canada’s 1st Canning Brownies and Sparks with help from Tim Amos of the Horticulture Program at Kingstec and members of the Fieldwood Heritage Society.

What
The 1st Canning Brownies and Sparks will be planting magnolia trees at Bruce Spicer Park to beautify this historic community property and improve the park environment.

Thanks to the Girl Guides of Canada Tree Planting Grant Program in partnership with         TD Friends of the Environment Foundation, we were able to purchase four unique                  magnolia trees for the park. A fifth magnolia is being generously donated by the                       Horticulture Program at Kingstec.

We invite the community out to share in the fun and excitement of planting, which will           happen rain or shine!
