The Village of Canning is inviting residents and visitors alike to an afternoon of food, music, family activities, and community spirit during the Annual Picnic and Fire Department Open House on Sunday, August 9, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the MultiComplex, 977 J. Jordan Road.
This popular summer tradition offers something for all ages, bringing together neighbours, families, local organizations, and volunteers for an afternoon of fun and connection.
Live entertainment will be provided by Hilites featuring Bob Deveau, offering music throughout the afternoon while visitors enjoy a complimentary barbecue, children’s activities, and interactive experiences hosted by the Canning Volunteer Fire Department.

The Canning Volunteer Fire Department will once again open its doors to give residents a behind-the-scenes look at the equipment, vehicles, and people who help keep the community safe.
