Support the Village of Canning’s Merritt Gibson Library’s PLANT, BOOK, BAKE, AND BBQ SALE & RAFFLE on Saturday, May 21 from 10 AM to 1 PM. The library is located at 9806 Main St, Canning, Nova Scotia.
As usual, the Library fundraiser will feature unusual and hardy nursery shrubs and evergreens, plus many cuttings, perennials, vegetable & herb seedlings from our local gardeners, BBQ hotdogs and burgers, homemade baking and coffee, and a LOT of good books. Cash and debit/credit card accepted.
This year, the Library is also raffling off a gift basket featuring gift cards from Valley businesses ($350 value). Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5, and available at the Library on or before May 21.
The Library welcomes your donations of good quality books and plants. Book donations are preferred on Tuesdays 5 – 7 PM and Thursdays 2 – 5 PM until the third week of May. Plant donations can be dropped off at the Library on May 21 at 9:30 PM.
