Support the Village of Canning’s Merritt Gibson Library’s PLANT, BOOK, and BAKE SALE!
The library is accepting good used book donations until Thursday, May 18th at 5pm. Please donate seedlings and plants at 9:30am on the sale day. Unusual and unique nursery stock (shrubs, perennials, etc.) will be available from the NSCC Kings Tech Horticultural Operations Program students, plus many plants and cuttings from our local gardeners and homemade treats from our kitchens.
Silent auction of artwork and raffle will feature gifts from local businesses, plus barbecued hot dogs, sausages, and burgers, and coffee from the Village Coffeehouse. This event is made possible with donations from Valufoods, Golden Touch, Longspell Point Farm, The Hub, Maple Leaf Home Hardware, and the Canning Lions Club! Arrive at 9:30 am for the best selection. We will remain open until 1:00 pm.
The library is located at 9806 Main St, Canning, Nova Scotia.
