Due to the current Nova Scotia Public Health restrictions, the Canning MultiComplex Fitness room is closed until further notice. Also, the the Rate Payers meeting for the Canning Fire Commission scheduled for May 4, 2021 is postponed until gatherings are allowed. Please note, too, that the Annual General Meeting for the Village of Canning is scheduled for June 17, 2021 but may also be postponed if restrictions remain in place. All other bookings and events at the MultiComplex are also cancelled at this time. When restrictions change or are lifted, a notice will appear regarding access to the building on this website, as well as in an upcoming issue of the Canning Gazette.
The Village office remains open for payments and inquiries, but please do not enter the building if you have any signs or symptoms of illness, or have been in contact with someone who may show signs of Covid. Payments can also be made at the Canning post office or through your bank as an email transfer. Please feel free to call the office at 902-582-3768 with questions, Monday through Friday, 9 AM – 1 PM.
