The Fieldwood Heritage Society is holding a “Paint & Hammer” day on September 13, 2014 from 10am – 3pm. There are lots of projects that will be worked on so come out and support your community museum. Projects for the day include:

paint the north side of the house and touch-up where needed;

paint the south and west exterior walls of the garage;
-
dig trenches and place gravel and drainage pipe in preparation for rain gutters;
-
rodent proof the north foundation;
-
reconstruct the exterior cellar entrance;
-
fill in the old well and level the pile of dirt in the back yard; and
- repair west wall of garage and install sliding door.
