You can now “fuel up at home” with gasoline and diesel fuel available in the Canning area, thanks to Oulton’s Fuels and efforts by Kings County Councillor Kim MacQuarrie and other community participants. The self-serve filling station is located at the entrance to Canning Village, on the left side, just before Canning Auto Service. A small crow gathered for the cold, sunny opening at noon today, and Terry Porter, Councillor MacQuarrie, and retired councillor Jim Taylor were on hand to officiate and help visitors.
Finally, Canning has fuel again. I’m so happy for Canning.
