Kendra Whitehead – Leadership Ambassador 2018

The Village of Canning is delighted to congratulate Miss Kendra Whitehead, Canning Leadership Candidate 2018, who was selected to represent the Annapolis Valley as the 86th Queen Annapolisa, the Annapolis Valley’s Leadership Ambassador. We are deeply proud of her and her child attendant, Emily Randall-Johnstone. We know she will represent the Village of Canning, surrounding communities, and the entire Valley as a wonderful Leadership Ambassador throughout her year long reign.

“I am so thankful to have been given the opportunity to represent our village of Canning as this years Leadership Candidate. Throughout my Apple Blossom Festival experience I learned many things about myself and the incredible Valley we live in. I was able to show citizens from all over the Annapolis Valley the wonderful things we have to offer here in our humble village.

I am honoured to be selected as Queen Annapolisa the 86th. As the second Queen from Canning, I hope to make the entire village proud as I continue my reign.

I would like to offer a very special thank you to everyone from the Village and surrounding areas who have supported me through donations, kind words, and best wishes. It is your support that makes Canning such a wonderful place to live!”
